Joining Diary of A Stay At Home Mom for HHM.
As I look outside my window:
It's snowing! I woke up this morning to find that school for my son and work for my husband had been cancelled because of the snow. I'm not sure when it started but it's been snowing all day. It's beautiful but I'm ready for warmer weather.
Right now I am:
Taking a little break to type this up. My hubby is doing taxes and both kids are napping. My son usually doesn't nap anymore but he's had a very whiny and irritable attitude this morning so I made him. We also had some time to play and shovel earlier. It's so peaceful right now.
Thinking and pondering:
About the blogs I want to write up for this month. Since it's February I had a few ideas to write things on the topic of love. I love Valentines Day and what better time to write about my marriage (which I haven't done much of on here yet) and what I've learned about love. Stay tuned!
On my bedside table:
Well, it's on my end table in the living room - my Bible and A Marriage After God's Own Heart by David Clarke.
On my tv tonight:
Never too sure but since it's Monday I guess we'll be watching Cake Boss if it's on.
Listening to:
The dishwasher running.
On my to do list:
Laundry
Clean
Plans for this week:
This Friday and Saturday I'll be hanging out with my mom while my dad and a friend of his will be going to an outdoor show. Since my mom's stroke almost two years ago she can't do much on her own and can't be left alone. Aside from that I really don't have any plans set yet. I think it's going to be a week of snow. I would like to take my daughter to the library sometime this week and again on Thursday for story time. She loves story time.
My simple pleasure:
Blogging
Lesson learned the past week:
It's something I've been trying to remind myself of over and over. That it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks of me. Only God is the one I need to live for.
Looking around the house:
A mess of toys. Did you expect me to say anything different?
From the camera:
Prayer list:
My hubby as he prepares for surgery next month.
Bible verse/Devotional:
"I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth." -- Psalm 34:1

Hi from another Happy Homemaker in a snowy place too! We are facing snow day #3 from school tomorrow. Kind of ready for it to be over ... but we are enjoying building snowmen too!! :)
